The International Paralympic Committee developed the Paralympic School Day Resource Kit to create awareness and understanding of persons with a disability. These teacher resources include a planning manual, activity cards, and DVD to assist teachers in planning events for Paralympic School Week, and to help them organize adapted Paralympic sports and mini-Paralympic games.
The British Columbia Ministry of Education gratefully acknowledges the International Paralympic Committee for allowing the inclusion of their educational resources on this DVD.
