Severn Cullis-SuzukiOn April 30, 2009, the third Sharing the Dream webcast featured students interviewing Severn Cullis-Suzuki, a young environmental activist, speaker and author. Severn is the daughter of well-known environmentalist David Suzuki. While only 12 years old, Severn gave a speech about youth perspectives on environmentalism to the landmark 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, one of her many accomplishments in the environmental movement. Severn informed students about environmental issues and suggested ways that students can become community leaders in environmental protection
